While we understand what makes us the perfect choice to deliver the best thermoplastic elastomer solutions, we want to answer the frequently asked questions we generally receive to help make your selection process easy.

1. Why Meraki Thermoplastic Elastomers?

At Meraki, we are experts in TPE, TPV, and TPO compounding technologies. We help customers to identify the best products to meet their performance and manufacturing goals economically with our highly experienced sales and widely accredited technical service team.

Every solution that we deliver, begins with our careful listening to our customers to understand their specific requirements and the unique objectives needed for their application. We build a customized solution to satisfy customers' needs. Whether the solution is an already developed TPE formulation or a new, customized formulation, Meraki Team works hard to provide the customer with the best combination of physical properties and optimized processing characteristics within their financial targets.

2. While working with Meraki, what does the process looks like?

From the first conversation at Meraki, a technical representative will serve as your single-source contact for your project. At the beginning of our process, we will discuss your project objectives, including any relevant benchmarks that need to be met along the way. This model holds for a simple “just a quote” project or ones that will require the creation of new materials that involve production ramp-ups to full commercialization. Like every material solution we offer, we can customize our business process to fit what works best for you. From the simplest to the most complex projects, the customer can decide the support level desired to reach their business objectives.

3. Which TPE product is better for my application?

This question is challenging to answer, as it depends on the performance demands of the material. For many customers, the TPE product that is right for an application is one of their specific needs/objects and not an over-engineered or under-performing product.

At Meraki, we provide customers with peace of mind, as we are a supplier that is as interested as you are in getting the perfect material that fits your requirement. Our team will never try to force-fit a standard line product to the customer. We prefer to learn more about what the customer is trying to accomplish. Then we provide the ideal product for their specific end-product and manufacturing process. The solution to your requirement is just one step ahead by filling out the inquiry form.

4. Can Meraki Create a tailored solution for my application?

Absolutely! Our technicians with all the information they need to find a suitable formula, which may require just modifying our standard products to meet the demanding environments that your application requires or developing innovative new formulations that can exceed expectations.

At Meraki, we are driven by our motto, “Adding value to our Customers”. Many consumers think that customization comes with high customized prices. The most common feedback we receive from our customers is how they appreciate Meraki TPE for providing a tailored TPE solution without constructing the price premium that other custom TPE providers charge.

5. What separates Meraki from other TPE manufacturers?

Thermoplastic elastomers are complex compounds that will require a significant level of capital and intellectual investment. With our expertise, experience, and laser-like focus on customer satisfaction, we have been driven to exceed expectations with exceptional quality through innovative TPE solutions.

We know that we are not the only option for your thermoplastic elastomer solution needs, but when you work with Meraki, you can count on us to offer:

Meraki is an organization with stable manufacturing processes significantly automated. Meraki is a TPE supplier that offers TRUST and Competence while being a Value adder.

6. Which materials Meraki compounds?

Meraki compounds Thermoplastic Elastomers(TPE's), Thermoplastic Vulcanizates(TPV's), and Thermoplastic Olefins(TPO's), which can meet countless application needs for a broad base of end-user markets, from food contact grades, medical grades, consumer goods to industrial, irrigation, and automotive interiors and exteriors. If, as a trusted resource, we are unable to provide an immediate solution, we will make recommendations for your next steps. Let us show you how we deliver premium materials and create lean solutions that use injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding processes for manufacturers better and faster than anyone else.

7. Are Meraki thermoplastic elastomers safe?

Meraki TPE has excellent mechanical properties and elasticity and possesses a strong haptic. Their inherent low toxicity and compliance with medical and food contact regulations make Meraki TPE a wise choice for specifying materials for use.

8. Does Meraki Thermoplastic elastomer give an environmental impact?

Meraki Thermoplastic elastomers are Eco-friendly because they are made out of non-toxic recyclable plastics. TPE materials can often be recycled by molding or extruding. Our TPE also consumes less energy during production, which is another reduction to our environmental footprint.

9. What additional benefits if we use Meraki TPE?

Lower energy consumption due to shorter molding cycles and simpler processing. Lower quality control costs, because of greater reproducibility and consistency of properties of TPE resins. Meraki TPE has a lower density than conventional rubber compounds, their volume cost is often lower. Simplified processing with fewer steps, more efficient, and significantly less expensive, resulting in the reduced total price of the finished part. Shorter fabrication times result in lower finally completed part costs.

The productivity of the provided equipment is considerably boosted because TPE molding cycles are often several seconds rather than minutes for thermostat rubbers.
